Judith Ann Harris, 72, of Shelburn passed away surrounded by her family in the Gibson Family Center at Union Hospital on July 19, 2018. She was born on November 29, 1945 to Louis and Evelyn (Rhodon) Todd in Terre Haute, Indiana.  Judy served as the Trustee of Curry Township, and she was also the secretary/treasurer of the Thunderbird Fire Protection Territory in Farmersburg, Indiana.  Judy spent her life giving to others and serving those in need. Her dedication to helping others gave her a great sense of pride and satisfaction, and her accomplishments in this life are too numerous to mention.  Her greatest joy in this life was her family, and they were always first and foremost in her heart.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Richard Marvin Self.  She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 30 years, Marvin Harris; two daughters, Tina Cowden (JD) and Susan Clements (Otto); brother, Rick Todd (Kathy); sisters, Sandy Tresner (Deb), Sherry Orender (Gilbert) and Teri Newgent (Dick); grandchildren, Jordan Cowden (Brittany), Jackson Cowden, Aaron Clements and Anna Clements (Fiancé Billy Clark); two great-grandchildren, Jillian and Jaclynn Cowden, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Judy will be held at The First Baptist Church in Shelburn, Indiana on Saturday, July 21 from 12:00-4:00 PM with funeral services beginning at 4:00.   Graveside services will follow at Pogue Cemetery in Fairbanks, Indiana. Pastors Ben Wetherington and Don Ransford will officiate.
