Judith B. (Dean) Acree, 69, passed away on Saturday November 7, 2020 following a brief illness at Meadows Manor East.  Judy was born on August 24, 1951 to Charles F. and Martha C. Dean.  Judy was preceded in death by her dad, one sister as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  She is survived by her mother Martha C. Dean; husband Robert L. Acree; two sons Michael D. Acree (Amy) and William-Dean Acree; brother Darrell D. Dean (Sandy); two granddaughters Ashton and Kaitlynn Acree, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Judy graduated from Wiley High School class of 1969.  She married Robert L. Acree on June 18, 1990.  Judy was a member of the Terre Haute Bowlers Hall of Fame and the Greenwood Baptist Church.  She worked at Union Hospital from 1971 until 1991 in the business office.  Judy enjoyed gardening, bowling, mushroom hunting, her friends and family, especially cats and all her other animals.  Visitation for Judy will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Thursday, November 12 from 4:00 PM- 8:00 PM. Services will be on Friday November, 13 starting at 11:00 AM.  Burial at Nyes Chapel Cemetery will follow. Brother Dave Smith will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to your local animal shelter in Judy's name.
