Joy M. Bratt Power, 88, of Prairie Creek passed away at Cobblestone Crossing Health Campus on Friday, December 4, 2020.  She was born May 27, 1932 in Vigo County to Macey Bratt and Edith Romas Bratt.  She married Norman Power on July 6, 1952 and they shared 51 years together.  Joy loved the outdoors.  She enjoyed gardening, crafting and was a self-taught carpenter, designing and building homes.  Joy was also a member of the Eagles Grandmothers Club.

She is survived by her son Norman "Daurel" Power (Deb), daughters Velia Power, Chris Williams (Edward), Cathy Power, and Arleen Frantz; grandsons David Power (Hollie), Andy Williams (Jessica), and Cody Frantz; granddaughter Chastity Williams, great grandson Ethan Williams, and brother Darrell Bratt.  Joy is preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman Power, brother Dale Bratt, and sisters Doris McAllister and June Jeffers.
