Joseph F. "Joe" Archer, 64, of Terre Haute passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday January 8, 2018. He was a retired manager for Gustav A. Larson Heating and Cooling. Joe was born January 31, 1953 in Terre Haute to Charles W. Archer and Constance M. (Hamilton) Archer. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kathy (Bush) Archer; daughters, Maranda Stepp (Erik), Meredith Benefiel, and Stephanie Ligget (Douglas); grandchildren, Kylee Stepp, Hannah Stepp, Jaxon Benefiel, Olivia Ligget, and Parker Ligget; brother, David Archer (Lisa); brother-in-law, Steve Bush (Lori); sister-in-law, Karen Dulude (Juan); aunt, Martha Walker and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Irene Korenski and Nancy Chambers and a brother, Larry "Buck" Archer. Joe was Past Master of Rosedale Masonic Lodge # 259, a member of Twelve Points Masonic Lodge # 769, and a 33° Scottish Rite Mason. Joe also enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Visitation will be Wednesday January 10, 2018 from 3:00 until 7:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with masonic memorial services at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be Thursday January 11, 2018 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Reverend Ron Hatley officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
