Joseph Michael Everly, 61, passed away on January 7, 2014, at Union Hospital, after a brief battle with cancer. He was born November 28, 1952, in Terre Haute to Joseph R. Everly and Alice Lloyd Everly. Joe was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother, Alice Everly; his sister, Jeanne Everly and husband Tom Weber; aunt and uncle, Dave and Charlotte Everly; special cousins Marty Thomson, David Thomson, Dottie Stanley and Mary Ann Duncan, as well as several other cousins. Joe was a graduate of Wiley High School and attended Rose-Hulman Institute. He had been employed by Inweld, Pfizer, and Stratosphere Quality. He served in the United States Army Reserve and was a member of the American Legion and Fraternal Order of Eagles. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2014, with visitation at 11:00 A.M. and service at 12:00 at the Unity Presbyterian Church, 1207 East Springhill Drive, Terre Haute, Indiana, with Reverend Jenni Walker Noyes officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities or to Hospice of the Wabash Valley.
