Joseph J. Barrett, 72, born in Terre Haute, Indiana in 1944, he passed away Friday, October 18, 2016 at Springhill Village. He enjoyed going to his grandson, Rich Dailey's house to watch Notre Dame games and visit with his granddaughter-in-law, Alisha Dailey and his 3 great grandchildren. He also looked forward to taking his grandson, Ethan Denbo, to school in the mornings and spending time with his wife, Jeannie Barrett, while listening to music and her poetry. He was preceded in death by his parents, John J. and Margaret Barrett, brother, Jay Barrett and sister, Mary Barrett. Survivors include his wife, Jeannie Barrett, step-children, Tina and Greg Denbo and Natalie and Stacey Starner, siblings, Dennis and Mary Ann Barrett, Rose and Tim Patterson, and Teresa French, sisters-in-law, Mary Durham and Christine Dart, as well as 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
