M. Jolene Davis, 70, passed away at Terre Haute Regional Hospital emergency room on January 28, 2014. She was born on February 22, 1943 in Maryville, MO to Joseph L. and Lois M. (Hutcheson) VanFosson and they have preceded her in death. Mrs. Davis was a Pastor's wife. She also was a longtime Avon representative and will be remembered for making candy and pizza. She was very talented at sewing and crafts, and enjoyed being a part of Friday Night Friends get-togethers. Her church membership was at Faith Wesleyan Church. She is survived by her husband, Richard Davis whom she married on May 10, 1962, a son Robert Davis and his wife Leona, a sister Glorene Barclay and her husband Jim, and her grandchildren Briauna Davis, Kaley Horn (Morgan Kindall), Tiera Davis, and Harley Davis; and one great-grandson Kelsey Blaine Kindall. She has many special friends that she considered her 'adopted' family. She was also preceded in death by a sister Loretta Andrews and her husband Hubert. Funeral services will be at Faith Wesleyan Church on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 2 p.m. with Pastors Ray Austin and Phil Gormong officiating. Burial will be in Pogue Cemetery at Fairbanks. Friends may call at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Sunday, Februray 2, 2014 from 2-6 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to either the Light House Mission or Crisis Pregnancy Center in her memory.
