John William Leeth, 73, of Terre Haute passed away peacefully on Friday, March 8, 2024.  He was born in Terre Haute on August 17, 1950, to Charles Leeth and Lois Oxendine Leeth.  John was a farmer all of his life.  He and his mother had a great love for horticulture.  They would grow and sell produce to local grocery stores.  He was a lifelong 4-H member, leader, and supporter.  John highly enjoyed raising and showing livestock.   He worked at the Indiana State Fair for twenty years.

John is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Angela (Martin) Leeth, daughter Kymberly Leib (Robert), and sister Sue Ann Leeth.  Many of the children that attend Kym's preschool and daycare considered John their grandpa.  The kids brought him so much happiness.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his best friend, Vernon Harlan, who was like a brother to him.  John joins him now in Heaven.

Cremation was entrusted to DeBaun Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of John can be made to 4-H.
