John J. Krueger, 76, of Terre Haute passed away at his residence on August 19, 2014. He was born in Vero Beach, FL to Herbert and Lena M. (Fika) Krueger. Mr. Krueger was a longtime coal miner having worked at various mines throughout the Wabash Valley. He was a member of Faith Wesleyan Church. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter Rhonda Elaine, his parents and Earl Krueger, his step-father who raised him. Survivors include his wife Janet (Fleschner) Krueger, two sons and their wives, Jeffrey and Dawn Krueger; John Allen and Tina Krueger; a brother Rudy Krueger and his wife Marge, two sisters Diane Eden and husband Pete, and Carol Jesmer and husband John. His grandchildren are Emily Petrowski and husband David, Tiffany Benefiel and husband Billy, and Drake Brady; two great-grandchildren Jabin Petrowski and Johnathan Petrowski, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in Faith Wesleyan Church at 1 p.m. Friday with Revs. Ray Austin, Dan Gormong, and Mark Fleschner officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
