Joe Wayne McKee, 56 of Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 11:15 AM at Kindred Health in Indianapolis. He was born in Terre Haute on September 20, 1959 to Joseph Richard McKee and Laura Viola Lowermilk McKee. Joe was a member of Pentecostal House of Prayer and served in the Army National Guard 38 S & T Battalion. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Fuchs McKee, his children Tamara McKee, Joe, Jr. McKee, and Joeleah McKee. Also surviving is his father, Joseph Richard McKee, and two sisters, Joyce Shepherd (husband Kenny), and Jana McKee, one grandchild, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services will be held at the Pentecostal House of Prayer, 1526 Harding Ave., Terre Haute, on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Andrew Merritt officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Clay City. Visitation will be held at Pentecostal House of Prayer on Tuesday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to help with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of DeBaun Funeral Homes and Crematory.
