Joe Dennis Jennings, 72, of Terre Haute passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025. He was born on May 31, 1953, to Grant "Ted" Cedric Jennings, and Deloris Luray Hayworth Jennings. Joe was a graduate of Sullivan High School.  In his younger years he was a great swimmer and was a diver at Shakamak State Park. People would travel from all over to see the high divers. Joe also enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.  Joe was a talented singer and he and Tata loved dancing. He was a farmer for many years.  Joe was baptized at the First Christian Church of Sullivan on March 18, 1962 and was a former member of the church. He loved being with the family and sharing stories and jokes. Joe will be sadly missed by all those that knew him.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Visitacion "Tata" Jennings, sons Shane Tyler Jennings (Kaitlyn), Mike Rogers (Katie), and Adam Friedrich, six grandchildren and one great grandchild, siblings Ronald Cedric Jennings and Linda Larae Virgin and several nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law Juanita Jennings and brother- in-law Leroy Virgin.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 10,2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Farmersburg Westlawn Chapel.  Service will begin at the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
