Joe D. Buck, 70, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday August 26, 2017 at 6:49 am in Union Hospital. He was the former owner of the Hobby Barn. Joe was born November 24, 1946 in Ponca City, OK to Henry Buck and Evelyn (Rennick) Buck. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gayla (Stoops) Buck; daughter, Julie Rogers ( Johnnie III) of Terre Haute; sons, Steve Buck (Susan) and Jon Buck both of Terre Haute; brother, Larry Buck (Susan) of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Natali, Elyssa, A.J., Kristan, Ryan, J.J., Haley, and Zoie; great grandson, Mason and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Joe loved fishing and was a member of the Terre Haute Remote Control Club, the Brazil Wing Modeler's Club and the Corvette Club. Visitation will be Friday September 1, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made the Alzheimer's Association.
