Jo Ann (Montague) McClain, 81 of Terre Haute, passed away at 11:01 AM on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Regional Hospital.  She was born in Terre Haute on August 26, 1936 to Howard Montague and Cecilia Chesher Montague.  Her husband, John R. McClain, preceded her in death in 2012, and she was also preceded in death by her brother, David Montague.  Jo Ann is survived by two daughters, Jackie Ann Waltermire (Jack Williams), and Angela Rae Wilson (Ronnie Wilson).  Also surviving are three grandchildren;  Stacy Britton, David Hagan II, and Kali Waltermire, as well as two great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  Her memberships include VFW Post # 972 Ladies Auxiliary and T.O.P.S.  Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Tom Simmons officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
