JoAnn Long, 86, of Pimento passed away quietly surrounded by family on Friday, November 6, 2020.  She was born June 9, 1934 to Coy Orman and Margaret Tryon Orman. On July 12, 1952 she married her high school sweetheart, Vincent Long, who proceeded her in death.Together, they spent their careers transporting the children of Vigo County to and from school. She treasured this career and was recognized with several awards and certificates over her 35 years of driving a bus. She also enjoyed crafting, sewing, and knitting, decorating for holidays, her garden, and spending time with her beloved family.Survivors include her sons John of Pimento Indiana, Jim of Lewis Indiana, and Joe (Katy) Of Ewa Beach, HI.  Also surviving are grandchildren Chrystle, Jackie, Jessica, and Mallory and great grandchildren Jade, Emma and Kevin. Also several nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by her loving husband Vince, daughter Judith, and son Jerry, and 2 siblings Coy and Betty.There will be no services and cremation has been selected.  DeBaun Funeral home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
