Jessica (Jessie) Marie Oliver, born on February 6, 1984, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Bill and Ellie Oliver, met Jesus while holding her parents' hands on December 9, 2024, in Costa Rica.

She is survived by her daughter, Valeska Oliver, of Costa Rica; brother, Jeremiah (Katie); nephews Peyton and Devon Oliver; grandfather, Ron Oliver; and many family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ryan Oliver; and several grandparents.

Jessie loved Jesus and dedicated her life as a missionary in Costa Rica. Though Jessie's earthly journey has ended, her life and legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her. "For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain." -Philippians 1:21

A celebration of life will be held on January 4, 2025, starting at 2 p.m., with visitation from 12 to 2 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 3050 East Davis Drive, Terre Haute, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church for a memorial scholarship fund.
