Jerry Lee Prewitt, 77 of Terre Haute passed away at 4:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2014 in Farmersburg,IN . He was born May 17,1937 in Corbin ,KY to Zester Prewitt and May(Owen) Prewitt. Jerry was a retired car salesman and was an Army Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his wife of 46 years, Patricia Sue Prewitt. He was also preceded in death by his brother Ray. Jerry is survived by his son, Jerry Prewitt (Terrie) and his daughters, Jill Brush(Montie) , and Lori Ashley (Michael). Also surviving are 6 grandchildren; Jayme Prewitt, Mandy Holmes, Jeremy Prewitt, Adam Ashley, Kyle Ashley and Megan Ashley, and three step-grandchildren; Aaron Brush, Andrew Brush, and Brandon Brush. He was a member of Oregon Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 29,2014 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel with Rev. Fred Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Creek Westlawn Cemetery with military graveside rites. Visitation is scheduled for 2:00 PM-5:00PM on Sunday, September 28, 2014 and Monday, September 29, 2014 from 11:00-1:00 in DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
