Obituary

Jerry Jackson passed away peacefully February 4th after an extended illness. He was born on November 5, 1937 in Blackwell, OK, to Homer and Nora Jackson. He enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed in Germany where he met his bride. He was a 29 year Veteran, learned the trade of an Electrician, obtained his Bachelor's Degree from Indiana State, and was a teacher at Terre Haute South. He retired from Alcan where he worked as an electrician.

A committed Christian; he taught Sunday School, led a youth group, and was a positive influence to everyone. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and brother. He loved his family, enjoyed fishing, reading Westerns, and basketball.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Margaret Ruth Remington and Betty Jean Jackson, brother Billy Jackson, and son-in-law, Jim Bogle.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Sigrid Kuhl Jackson; daughters, Trudy (Vic) Lowe, Dianne Bogle, Malinda (Don) Cook; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, brothers Richard Jackson and Don Jackson and many extended family.

We are blessed to have had him in our lives and rejoice that he is now with his Savior.

A celebration of his life will be Monday at DeBaun Springhill Chapel in Terre Haute. Visitation is from 11:00 to 2:00, Service at 2:00 (Gene Jeffers officiating) and Burial at Calvary Cemetery immediately following.
