Jennifer "Jenni" Ann Cruse Kelley, 80, of Terre Haute passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis, IN. She was born on July 14, 1945, in Terre Haute, IN, to Glenn W. Jones and G. Marie (Bryant) Jones. Jenni was a member of the Marine Corps League, American Legion 104, and the Terre Haute Wabash Valley Seniors. She was also past president and charter member of the Wabash Valley Genealogy Society. She retired from the Social Security Administration.
She was very fun-loving spending many days and nights each week attending trivia night competitions at both Charley's and Rick's Garage, watching karaoke, playing blackjack and roulette at the Terre Haute Casino and playing Mahjong. She treasured the time spent laughing, lunching and visiting with the ladies in the Sisterhood. Most of all, her favorite pastime was listening to her husband, Jerry, sing and play the steel guitar. She is loved and sadly missed by her family and friends.
Jenni deeply loved her family and treasured spending time with them. She is survived by her husband Jerry Kelley, a childhood friend she reacquainted with in late 2018, married May 7, 2024; children Mathew Hathecock (Kim), Cheryl Hoesman (Don), and Jamie Bozarth; stepsons Greg Cruse (Shari) and Brent Cruse; grandchildren Aliesha Turpin (Tommy), Megan Corcoran (Wes), Lacie Dearman (Chase), Cassandra Bozarth, Rachel Hamilton, Tim Deremiah, Holly Shepherd (Andrew), and Kaylin Brian (Gary); several great grandchildren including "Nini's" angels Ryderr and Remington Bozarth; special friend Roberta Santilli; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, friends, and work family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 43 years, Larry Cruse who passed away January 25, 2018; infant daughter Rebecca Long; grandsons Devin Hathecock and Justin Hamilton; siblings William "Bill" Cornell, Alyce Burkett, and Suellen O'Neal.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at DeBaun Funeral Home with service beginning at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will follow service.
