"The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully, is prepared to die at anytime. This is how Jeff lived his life, to the fullest. He didn't know a stranger. He laughed with his mouth wide open." Jeffrey M. Liechty, 60, of Terre Haute passed away on Friday January 31, 2014 in his residence. He was an instrument technician at Tri-Aerospace. Jeff was born September 25, 1953 in Crawfordsville, IN to Richard Liechty and Ruth (Klingler) Liechty. He is survived by brothers, Victor Liechty and his wife Debra and Greg Liechty and his wife Annette of Indianapolis; nieces, Amber and Carmen; nephews, Spencer and Trevor, and many cousins and lots of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Sally Liechty who died in 1968. He was a member of the Isaac Walton Sportsman Club; he was an avid golfer and fisherman and loved the outdoors and life. Per Jeff's request there will be no visitation or services. Cremation is scheduled. There will be a Celebration of Life for close friends and family in the spring.
