Jeffrey "Jeff" John Thompson, 49, suffered a stroke and passed away on March 21, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 20, 1974 in Terre Haute to John Thompson and Brenda Thompson.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Thompson; stepfather, Jim Church; fiancé, Sara McCool; and special uncle, Joseph Charles Thompson.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Brenda (Thompson) Church; sister, Rebecca Thompson Mullen; nieces, Genevieve Towle (Bryce) and Olivia Mullen; great-nephew, Henry Thompson Towle; uncle, Gary Smith (Janice), and many loving cousins. He is also survived by his partner, Ginny Schatz and her daughter, Amber Kelm, her grandchildren, Drew Kelm, Cambrie Kelm, and her great-grandson, Dreyson Kelm.

Jeff had a kind, loving heart and never met a stranger. He was always willing to help those in need. He would give you his last dollar, loan you his car, and give you a place to stay if you needed it. His jobs as a trash man and pizza delivery driver made him a fixture in the community. His many lifelong friends included Ryan Clatfelter, Jon Christjansen, Scott Jeffers, Glen Compton, and Jon Perkins among others.
