Jeffrey C. Drake, 52 of Farmersburg, IN, passed away at 4:38 PM on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born in Terre Haute on November 5, 1963 to Paul Drake and Betty DeVaul Drake. Jeffrey was a self-employed carpenter/construction worker who could fix most anything and was thrilled to fix anything for a friend. He loved cooking, as well as fishing and hunting, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was not a baseball fan but was a true Cardinals fan. He is survived by his mother, Betty Ann DeVaul O'Donoghue (& her husband John O'Donoghue), and also by his brother, Mark Drake (& his wife Patty), and nephew, Mark S.P.J. Drake. Jeffrey is also survived by his two beloved boxers, Tyson and Ally. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Drake. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been chosen and a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of DeBaun Funeral Homes and Crematory. Jeffrey's family would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Deshpande and the entire ICU staff at Regional Hospital for the compassionate care given to him during his stay there.
