Jeanette Irene Auterson, 93, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday April 29, 2026 in Harrison Crossing. She was born December 9, 1932 in Seelyville, Indiana to Frank and Rose (Hogue) Smith. Jeanette is survived by her daughters, Deborah Long (Charlie), Linda Cunningham (Lyle), Diana Sheely, Annetta Boes, and Lisa Turner (Allan); son, Donald “Donnie” Auterson (Sandra); sister, May Lucille Long; 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Donald W. Auterson, who died march 30, 2014 and also by eight siblings. Jeanette loved to go to the casino and to go shopping. Visitation will be Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 PM in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services starting at 2:00 pm in the funeral home.
