Jay Archibald, 58, of California passed away Wednesday December 20, 2017 in Sunnyvale, CA. He was born May 13, 1959 in Terre Haute to Richard Archibald and Florence (Houlston) Archibald. Jay is survived by his mother of California; and  cousins, Eric Cress, Jesse Cress, and William Cress all of Terre Haute and a special friend, Ed Kinney and his wife who has helped with Cystic Fibrosis patients  for 35 years.. He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Gay Archibald and an aunt, Luella Jarvis. Jay enjoyed working on computers and had spent several years installing computerized machinery. He also enjoyed bike riding. He was a member of the Stanford Adult Patient and Cystic Fibrosis Advisory Council and spent years helping with cystic fibrosis patients. Services will be Tuesday January 23, 2018 at 10:30 am in the chapel in Roselawn Memorial Park. DeBaun Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
