Janice McCain, 83, of Carlisle and formerly of Terre Haute passed away Monday November 11, 2024 in her residence. She was born March 21, 1941 in Terre Haute to Jack and Anna (LaClave) Conway. Janice is survived by her daughter, Karen Todd (Lonnie); step-son, Darrel McCain (Kellie); step-daughters, Monica Hendrix (Joe) and Teresa Babyak (George); grandchildren, Justin Todd (Brandi), Jacob Todd (Chelsey), Jarett Todd,  Amanda Zamani (Andrew), Darrel R. McCain Jr. (Kay), Tasha Griffin (Todd), Brittany Waltz (Dillion), Ryan Pribble, Amber Turnbull (Eric), Jeremy Babyak, Justin Babyak (Angela), and Brandi White (Clint); great-grandchildren, Aiden Todd, Owen Todd, Bostyn Todd and numerous other great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Stephen D. McCain, who passed on May 20, 2020. Janice was a member of World Gospel Church and of the Pleasantville Women of Faith. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, working puzzles, camping, fishing and spending time with her cats and dogs, Sydney and Gunner. Janice was a graduate of Indiana State University and had formerly worked at Columbia House. Visitation will be Friday November 15, 2024 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm in World Gospel Church with funeral services starting at 12:00 pm in the church with Dr. Dan Willis officiating.
