Jane Ann (Ramsey) Maurer, 73, of Fairbanks, Indiana passed away in her home surrounded by loved ones on Friday, December 19, 2025.  She was born to Jack Leo Ramsey and Norma Jean (Surber) Ramsey on February 29, 1952 in Terre Haute, Indiana.  Jane found the love of her life, Larry Wayne Maurer, and spent every day with him since 1968.  The two wed on September 4, 1971 and spent 54 years happily married.  Jane cherished her husband deeply.

Jane loved her staff at the Sullivan pub and cared for everyone there.  In her free time, she enjoyed boating, riding ATVs, and traveling with Larry.

Jane is preceded in death by her father.

Jane is survived by her mother; husband; sons Rusty Maurer (Robin) and Josh Maurer (Kelly); siblings Kathy Clark (Paul), Karla Brown (Mike), Jill McCarter, Jack Ramsey (Brenda), Lisa Collins; grandchildren Jada Maurer, Jasmyn Maurer, Logan Abrell; and her beloved dog, Patches.
