James L. Wadsworth, 75, of Linton passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Glenburn Senior Living in Linton, Indiana.  Jim was born September15, 1948 to Victor "Bill" and Vera (Richardson) Wadsworth.  Jim married Marla (Britton)Wadsworth on September 22, 1984.

He was a United States Army veteran having served in Viet Nam.  Jim graduated from Vincennes University and Indiana State University.  He was an electronic technician and retired from NWSC Crane.  He then worked as a tester for Greene County Weights and Measures after retirement.  Jim belonged to Saron United Church of Christ in Linton, Linton Elks Lodge No. 866, VFW Post 7118, American Legion Post 22, and the Linton Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Marla Wadsworth, son Bryan Wadsworth (Teddi) of Bloomington, Indiana; daughter Andrea Goodwin (Chris) of Danville, Indiana; step-son John Graham of New York City, New York; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and sisters Rebecca "Becky" Sims and Susie Roach both of Oden, Indiana.  Jim was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Shanna Wadsworth, and brother Byron Sims.
