James Lloyd Ridge, 78, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday July 2, 2019 in his residence. He was born March 19, 1941 in Dugger, IN to Mervin O. Ridge and Eloise (Hatfield) Ridge. James is survived by his children, Michelle Branche, Eddie Ridge, Karla Collester, Kimberly Ridge, and Kenneth Ridge; brothers, Joseph Ridge, Steve Ridge, David "Mike". Ridge, Jack Ridge, Mervin "Dick" Ridge, Larry Ridge, and William Sheapperd; sister, Shelia Smith; ex-wife, Mary Ridge and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harold Ridge and William "Bill" Ridge and sisters, Mary Sheapperd, Karen Ridge, Eva Strain, and Margaret Fields. James had worked as a farm hand and at Corrona Construction and Hogget Excavating. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. DeBaun Springhill Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
