James L. "Jim" Quinlan, 73, of Terre Haute passed away Friday October 31, 2014 in his residence. He was a retired station manager for the Rose Station Post Office. He was born May 26, 1941 in Terre Haute to James B. Quinlan and Frances (Rowe) Quinlan. Jim is survived by a daughter, Christina Pell and her husband Nick of Terre Haute; a son, James M. Quinlan and his wife Jackie of Terre Haute and two grandchildren, Quin Shotwell and Alex Shotwell. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Len Quinlan. Jim was co-owner of Rafter's Bar and he was an avid golfer. Visitation will be Tuesday November 4, 2014 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Funeral Home, Wabash Avenue Chapel, 2425 Wabash Ave. Private family services will be at a later date with Pastor David Rockhill officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
