James D. Kutz, 89 of Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 2:26 AM in Springhill village.  He was born in Indianapolis, IN on July 24, 1927 to  Everett Kutz and Ardeth Haskett Kutz., and was a U.S. Navy Veteran, having served at the end of WW II and went on to own Jimmy's Appliance Center.  James was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Marie Mac Donald Kutz, who preceded him in death in 2013, as well as a grandson, Brent Long, great grandson, Corbin Glass, and a brother, Dale Kutz.  He is survived by his four daughters:  Cheryl Long, Carol Glass (husband Bill), Cathy Taunton, and Colleen Sheese (husband Bob).  Also surviving are several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been chosen, with private graveside services to be held at a later date at New Harmony Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of DeBaun Funeral Homes and Crematory.
