James J. Freudenberg, 81 years, loving Husband, Father, Brother and incredible friend to many, has passed on Sunday, September 10th, 2017.

Known as "Jim" to most, he graduated from Purdue in 1959 as a Pharmacist and after a short stint with Hooks Drugs, Jim moved to Terre Haute where he owned and operated pharmacies for over 40 years. He also owned Terre Haute Ambulance Service and was a member of the Elks Lodge and a dedicated supporter of the Purdue Pharmacy Intern Program for many years. Jim's love for Purdue Sports never wavered and provided many years of enjoyment over his lifetime.
Jim is survived by his wife, Norma J. Freudenberg, faithful pet Chase, Jim's 3 children, James A. Freudenberg, Julie Presnell and Amy Allen and their spouses, his sister Janie Schaufhauser, and 9 Grandchildren. Services celebrating Jim's life will be Saturday, September 16th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at DeBaun Funeral Home, 85 E. Springhill Drive, Terre Haute, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Humane Society of Terre Haute.
