James Neal Crowley II, 65 of Terre Haute, passed away at 11:21 AM on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis surrounded by his family. He was born in Terre Haute on August 25, 1950 to George Crowley and Maxine Knight Crowley. Jim was an Operator for Local # 841, and his memberships include the Eagles Aeries Lodge and the F.O.P. Jim also enjoyed taking long rides on his Harley whenever time permitted. He is survived by his wife Terri Keller Crowley, his mother, Maxine Knight Crowley Brooks and step-father Tom Brooks and his 4 children; Amy Schneider (David), Angela Hansen (Jeff), Michael Doss, and Rachael Doss. Also surviving are his brothers & sisters; George Crowley II, Bob Crowley, Donald Crowley, Brenda Brenneman (Jim), Georgia "Sissy" Crowley, and Marlene Cox (David). In addition, Jim is survived by his grandchildren; Dustin Doss, Jacob Schneider, Jayben Bailey, Elaina Schneider, Kimberly Schneider, Matthew Schneider, Kaleb Wheatley, Brett Hansen, Grace Hansen, Kaitlynn Hansen, Julia Hansen, and 1 great grandchild, Aubree Doss as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, and brother Jackie Crowley. A Celebration of Life will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 3:00 PM, with, Friar Fred Pasche officiating. Visitation will follow from 4:00 - 7:00 PM in the funeral home. All are welcome to join family and friends at the FOP lodge after the visitation. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been chosen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Carmelite Monastery in Terre Haute.
