James G. Campbell, age 74 of Terre Haute passed away at his residence surrounded by family on January 1, 2018 after a short illness.  He was born on March 26, 1943 to Forest Raymond Campbell and Thelma Jane James Campbell in Brazil, Indiana.  James was a well-known pharmacist in the Terre Haute area serving the industry for more than 45 years.  He was a world traveler, visiting every continent except Antarctica.  James was a proud and active member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church for over 40 years where he was a vestry member.  He was a 1961 graduate of Brazil High School and enjoyed serving on the reunion committee.  James graduated from Butler University in 1966.  He had a great love for his family and enjoyed the companionship of his dog Carl.

James is preceded in death by his parents and wife Janet Canter Campbell.  He is survived by his sons; Bradley Campbell and Aaron Campbell, daughter Michelle Myska, grandchildren Shelby Myska, Lauren Myska, Ian Myska, Rebecca Campbell and Zachary Seigh.

Cremation was chosen with DeBaun Funeral Home assisting with arrangements.  A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church located at 215 North 7th street Terre Haute IN with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. and services starting at 11am with The Reverend Drew Downs officiating. There will be a reception following the service.  In lieu of flowers donations would be welcomed to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church or your local chapter of Make a Wish Foundation. He will be greatly missed because he was so greatly loved.
