Howard L. Halberstadt, 95, of Sullivan passed away Tuesday January 7, 2020 in Miller's Merry Manor. He was a farmer. He was born September 3, 1924 in Sullivan County to George and Ina (All) Halberstadt. Howard is survived by his wife Vivian L (Gerkin) Pirtle Halberstadt; daughter, Monica Fry (Bill); step-son, Rodney Pirtle (Cathy); step-daughters, Cathy Pirtle, Karen Monroe (Roy), and Ronda Ravellette (Charles); grandchildren, Jason Fry (Torrie) and Rhonnie Walker; and great-grandson, Elliott Fry. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth (Reed) Halberstadt; son, Randall Halberstadt and two infant daughters. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Visitation will be Friday January 10, 2020 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services on Saturday January 11, 2020 at 10:30 am in the funeral Home with Brother Buford Smith officiating.
