Hesper Dawn Gasaway, 88 of Berwyn, IL and formerly of Terre Haute passed away Saturday August 27, 2016 in Adventist La Grange Memorial hospital in La Grange, IN. She was a retired administrative assistant at Johnson Floor Company. She was born November 20, 1927 in Terre Haute to Edgar Boyll and Essie (Ring) Boyll. Hesper is survived by daughters, Dawn Kazda (Bill) of Berwyn, IL and Debra Wallace of Kentucky; a son, David Gasaway of Terre Haute; sisters, Phyllis Welton and Vay Doyne Moreland; a brother, Gaylon Boyll; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Hesper was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Orvall Eugene Gasaway who died January 10, 1972; sons, Daryl Gasaway and Dennis Gasaway and a brother, Berlin Boyll. She was a member of Prairie Creek Church of Christ, enjoyed crocheting and doing word searches. And most of all she enjoyed helping her children. Visitation will be Saturday September 3, 2016 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Minister Rich Woodason officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park
