Herbert Leroy Hurst, 85, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday February 4, 2018 at 5:50 pm in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born July 5, 1932 in Terre Haute to Herbert Hurst and Nellie (Gordon) Hurst. Herbert is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mary Lou (Williams) Hurst; sons, Mike Hurst of Prairie Creek and John Hurst of Florida and several grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Nenneman and Dorothy Caton. He was a member of First Prairie Creek Baptist Church. Visitation will be Thursday February 8, 2018 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Dobson officiating.
