December 31, 1925 – August 15, 2024
Henry Ray Dyer, 98, of Terre Haute went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 15, 2024. He was born December 31, 1925, in Terre Haute to Cecil Dyer and Josephine Brown Dyer. Ray was a proud Marine veteran serving during WWII. He was a longtime local mail carrier for the United States Postal Service retiring in 1986. Ray served as the Pastor of First Prairie Creek Baptist Church from 1977 to 2006. His commitment to the Lord and the church brought him incredible joy and fulfillment. Ray married the love of his life, Doris, on August 7, 1955, and they were married 69 wonderful years.
