Henrietta Berry, 89, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday July 1, 2020 in Gibson Family Hospice Center. She was a minister's wife and mother of three. She was born March 27, 1931 in Terre Haute to Loudye and Bannie Elgar (Voils) Chilton. Henrietta is survived by her daughters, Sharon Johnson (Tom), Jetta Thomaston (Clifford), and Pamela Garber; sisters, Nina Kelly and Sandra Elder; brother, Lawrence Chilton; 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, eight great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roger Berry who died in 2006. She was a member of New Life Fellowship and a public speaker. She was a member of the Church Ladies Auxiliary and she was a collector of teapots. Visitation will be Sunday July 5, 2020 from 3:30 until 5:00 pm in New Life Fellowship Church with funeral services at 5:00 pm in the church with Pastor Jeff Harpold officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery.
