Helen Ann Eyre, 81, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2023. She was born on August 6, 1941 to Harry Scott and Eva (DeMoss) Scott. Helen married William E. Eyre, and they have been together for over 50 years.

She is survived by her loving husband, son William Eyre (Amanda), daughters, Cindy Richards (Ken) and Catherine Dowell (Daniel); step-daughters, Leslie Eyre and Lynn Eyre; sister Wanda Totten, grandchildren, Jude, Daniel, Kenny, Briar, Jennifer, Avery, and Tiffany; great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Riley, Raegan, Ellie, Wyatt, Kaden, and Rhett; great-great-granddaughter EverLeigh, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog Minnie. She is preceded in death by both of her parents and 12 siblings.

Helen enjoyed shopping and eating at Cracker Barrel. She also enjoyed camping with friends. She was known for spoiling all her grandchildren. Most importantly, Helen was a mother to all, and she will be dearly missed.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 11 am to 1 pm at DeBaun Springhill Chapel. A funeral service will follow starting at 1 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Prairie Creek West Lawn Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
