Helen Marie Pittman, 100, of Terre Haute passed on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 12:00 noon. She was born on December 3, 1912 to Claude J. Walters and Nola (Eads) Walters in Sullivan County, IN. Helen attended Southside Church of Christ. Helen is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Arthur Ray Pittman; her parents; sister Opal McDaniel; brothers Rev. Claude Walters, Clifford Walters, and Adrian Walters; and sister-in-laws Vivan Walters, Thelma Walters, and Betty Walters. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Danner, her husband Frank; grandson Guy Danner, his wife Kim; granddaughter Kelly Greenlee, her husband David all of Terre Haute; Great grandsons Kirt Fulk of Republic, MO, Terry Wilkinson Jr., his wife Latisha (Tish) of Terre Haute; great granddaughters Ellamai Wilkinson and Imari Fulk; great- great grandson Isaiah Fulk; brothers Robert (Bob) Walters of Sullivan, IN, Paul Walters, and his wife Joy of Indianapolis, IN; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00p.m. Saturday April 27, 2013, in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Dr. Pastor Robert Walters, her nephew, will be officiating. Burial will be in Farmersburg West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Camp Wabashi, 3525 E Harlan Drive, Terre Haute, IN 47802.
