Heidi Anne Scank, 42, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Union Hospital.  She was born September 4, 1979 in Terre Haute to Larry L. Scank, Sr. and Ruth A. Zuckerman Scank.  Heidi was a happy, fun-loving soul, who never knew a stranger.  Since age 6, she has been active at Happiness Bag where she's made so many friends. She started participating in the Special Olympics beginning age 8.  She competed in bowling, basketball, bocce and track and field.  Heidi loved music and enjoyed dancing.

Heidi is survived by her mother Ruth A. Scank, brothers Larry Scank, Jr. and A.J. Scank, sisters Christina Silva, Regina Dickens (David), Kristina Blackburn (Tony), and Darlene Lutz (Richard), several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and many friends at Happiness Bag.  She is preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 22, 2022 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church located at 2322 N 13 ½ Street in Terre Haute at 10:00 a.m. with Mass beginning at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Happiness Bag.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
