Harold Eugene Moore, 91, of Terre Haute went to his heavenly home February 14, 2017 in Burnside Nursing Home in Marshall, Illinois. He was born June 13, 1925 in Virginia to Charles Moore and Merle McNary Moore. Harold worked many years at Montgomery Ward. He sold over 1,000 garages at Bullock Garages in Terre Haute. He worked at the local Sears Department Store, Tractor Supply and Mariet Homes. He loved wood working and visiting with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents; his late wife Louise Koppler Moore; his daughter, Barbara Moore; his brother-in-law, Lavern Crawford; his two brothers, Bill Moore and Charles Moore; and his sister, Geraldine Parrott. Harold is survived by his wife of 54 years, Donna R. Moore; one son, Charles (Diane) Moore of Marshall, Illinois; one daughter, Beverly (Chris) Owen of West Union, Illinois; grandchildren, Scott (Amy) Moore of Fort White, Florida, Brad Moore of Terre Haute, Christy (Scott) Miller of Charleston, Illinois, Jaime (Jeffrey) Richey of Marshall, Illinois and Eric Owen of West Union, Illinois; and his five great grandchildren, Bobby Miller, Jessica Richey, Crystal Richey, Joey Richey and Mia Moore; several nieces and nephews; and a special son and daughter, Tommy and Diane Green. Services will be held Friday, February 17, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 East Springhill Drive, Terre Haute, Indiana with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pastor Rod Maris will be officiating; burial will be in Farmersburg West Lawn Cemetery.
