Harold Clark Boyd, 95, Terre Haute, died Monday, May 27, 2013. He was born in Terre Haute on October 28, 1917 to Walter S. Boyd and Minnie Clark Boyd. He married Doris Luckenbill on April 26, 1941. Survivors include two daughters, Maryann Boyd, Terre Haute; and Delores "Dee" Camilotto and her husband, Elio, Fond du Lac, WI. Two grandchildren, Christopher Camilotto, Menasha, WI and Ashley Murphy and her husband Daniel, Indianapolis; and one great grandchild, Jackson Boyd Murphy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Boyd who died 2003; sisters, Virginia Horsley and her husband Carl, Margaret Wiggins, and Katherine Salter and her husband Charlie. Harold worked at Blakey's Auto Shop, White Hanes Optical and John's Dental Lab. He also worked as an usher at ISU Hulman Center for 30 years. He was a lifetime member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute, Social Lodge #86 F. & A.M. and the Lawton-Byrum Post #972 VFW. He served in the South Pacific during World War II. In Sept 2012 he had the opportunity to participate in the first Indy Honor Flight to Washington, DC for WWII Veterans Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm on Friday May 31, 2013 at the Callahan-DeBaun Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave. with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery with military honors provided by Lawton-Byrum Post #972 VFW. Visitation is from 4:00-8:00pm on Thursday May , 30, 2013 with a masonic memorial service at 7:00 pm. The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Indy Honor Flight or the American Heart Association.
