Grace Eveline (McLatchie) Doolittle, 84, of Terre Haute, was surrounded by her family as she entered heaven to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 27 at Harrison's Crossing Assisted Living.  She was born in Milwaukee, WI to Wesley and Ann McLatchie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Doolittle, her son, Douglas Doolittle, her sister, Dorothy McLatchie, and her brother, William McLatchie.

She is survived by three daughters, Glorianne (David) Levy, Kristi (Andrew) Altvater, and Sharon (Lee) Green; daughter-in-law, Diane Doolittle (Bob) Hecker; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Grace was a retired piano teacher of over fifty years and served as a church pianist for many years.  She was a faithful member at First Baptist Church of West Terre Haute and participated in Bible Study Fellowship.  She delighted in praying and sharing God's Word with others.  When asked how she was doing her reply was, "Living by God's mercy and grace." She loved music, reading, books, birds, and flowers. Most of all, Grace loved her family deeply.

Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Levy and Pastor Jeff Augustus officiating.  Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in Roselawn Memorial Park.  Visitation is from 4 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1.
