Grace Frances Corne Hancher, 94, of Terre Haute passed away Monday April 1, 2019 at 5:48 pm in Springhill Village. She was born October 1, 1924 in Pike County, IN to William L Corne and Glenna (Randall)  Corne. She is survived by daughters, Sharon Alumbaugh of Terre Haute and Dianne Barnard of Deming, NM; step-son, Terry Hancher of Tacoma, WA, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Hancher, who died in April 1997, son, Kenneth Haper, step-son, Cecil Hancher; two sisters, a brother, and four half-brothers. Frances moved from Arizona to Terre Haute in 1997. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ and she loved to travel. Visitation is Thursday April 4, 2019 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services on Friday April 5, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Ken Grubb officiating.
