Gloria Jean (Thomas) Pilkington, 78, passed away on February 28, 2026 at 4:30 am in her home in Seelyville. She was born on October 20, 1947 to John Thomas and Hilda (Martin) Thomas.

She was a loving sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, and great-grandma.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, brother Pete Thomas, and great-granddaughter Bailee.

She is survived by her sister Sandy James, children Tony Pilkington, Amy Russel (Richard), and Jody Pilkington (Tanya); grandchildren DeAnna Pilkington, Brittney Miller (Alston), Ian Hall, Jodie Pilkington (Raymond), Conner Hall (Cody), Larry Pilkington (Emilie), and Kendra Eaton (Brian); great-grandchildren Sincere, Chariti, Ryah, Cayson, LJ, RJ, May, Kaylynn, Axton, Jaxon, Coraline, Brantley, and Iveigh; and nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

Gloria wanted to be cremated, and her ashes spread in Florida by the ocean. Her family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
