Glenn E. Currie, 69, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday February 21, 2016 at 4:30 am in his residence. He was a retired branch manager of Ceres Solutions (formerly Farm Bureau Co-Op) where he had worked for 40 years. He was born August 17, 1946 in Indianapolis to Warren Currie and Thelma (Swanson) Currie. Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Patricia (Rector) Currie; a daughter, Linda Fyffe (Mark) of Blooming, IN and their children Oliver and Edie; a son, Scott Currie (Lesley Fisher) of Blooming, IN; a sister, Linda Parnell (Dick); nieces, Jill Cain (Dave) and Laura Parnell (Kurt Kowgar); a great niece, Nellie Cain and great nephew, Wayne Parnell Kowgar. Visitation will be Saturday February 27, 2016 from 2:00 until 3:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with a memorial service at 3:00 pm where family and friends will share stories and memories about Glenn. Cremation is scheduled. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
