Gladys J. Keaton, 91, passed away September 1, 2015 at Springhill Village. She was born on October 23, 1923 in Riley to Albert and Sarah (Campbell) Talley. Mrs. Keaton was a homemaker and had retired from the housekeeping department at Indiana State University. She married Johile 'Bus' Keaton on May 23, 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1996. She is survived by two sons, John 'Freddie' Keaton of Terre Haute and Lon R. Keaton of Ft. Wayne; a brother George Talley of Terre haute, a sister Leona Taylen of Terre Haute, and a grandson Timothy Keaton of Lafayette, IN. There are several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be in DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Saturday, September 5, 2015 beginning at 1 p.m. with Rev. Kevin Dobson officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m until service time. Burial will be in New Harmony Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the First Prairie Creek Baptist Church in her memory.
