Geraldine F. "Gerry" Johnson, 90, of Fishers, IN and formerly of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday February 23, 2016 at Allisonville Meadows Health care. She was born April 13, 1925 in East Chicago, IN to Lawrence Lantz and Rose (Miesel) Lantz. Gerry is survived by a daughter, Gayle Cartwright (Craig) of Indianapolis; sons, Eric Johnson (Liu Shen) of Carmel, IN and Craig Johnson (Susan) of Plainfield, IN; a brother, William Lantz of California; grandchildren, Bailey Loch (Christopher), Kip Cartwright (Elizabeth), Cody Cartwright, Amber Spears (Anthony), Alex Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Christopher johnson, Liane Yue, and Robert Yue. She had previously been a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and was currently active in St. Marks Church in Carmel, IN and Primelife. She was Volunteer of the Year for the City of Terre Haute in 1990 and was very active with the Girl Scouts of America. Visitation will be Friday February 26, 2016 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill chapel, 85 E. Springhill Dr. with funeral services on Saturday February 27, 2016 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. If friends so desire, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to either Girl Scouts of America or the Alzheimer's Association.
