Geraldine Holt-Morgan Cooley of Terre Haute passed away at 10:00am Wednesday October 29, 2014 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. Geraldine was born in Terre Haute to Clacey and Zelma Correll. She was proceeded in death by her parents; husbands, James R. Morgan in 1984 and Elbert Cooley in 2012; sister, Joan Correll; and grandson Gunner's Mate First Class Scott Alan Holt. She is survived by Alan & Karla Holt, Fort Myers, FL. Dale Holt, Cocoa Beach, FL, James Holt, Terre Haute, James Morgan, Clarksville, TN. Cheryl & Joseph Czajkowski, Terre Haute, Mary Holt, Terre Haute, Anita & Roy Reed, Warner-Robins, GA. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. She was a member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 104 and VFW. She is a past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star Terre Haute Chapter. Visitation will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive on Monday, November 3 from 11:00 – 1:00. Funeral services will be at 1:00pm with Pastor Aaron Wheaton and Pastor Rick Swan officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
