Gerald Lee Goldsworthy, 88, of Terre Haute passed away Friday June 21, 2024 in his residence. Gerald, often referred to as Jerry, was born September 27, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan to James and Rhoda (Pearson) Goldsworthy. He worked for United Airlines as a manager in the training and development center. He loved sports of all kinds, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, trivia contests and more. He was a devoted husband...alway by Barbara's side, a father and grandfather. Jerry is survived by his son, Daniel Goldsworthy (Michele); his grandchildren, Marlee Goldsworthy (Wyatt). Margaret Goldsworthy, Kayla Goldsworthy, Kristen Goldsworthy and daughter-in-law Laurey Goldsworthy. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of almost 60 years, Barbara Jane (Riley) Goldsworthy, who died May 10, 2023; son, Christopher Goldsworthy; daughters, Sharon Goldsworthy and Lee Ann Goldsworthy; sister, Patricia Cutting, and brother, James Goldsworthy. Jerry was a graduate of Mumford High School in Detroit and Wayne State University. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Memory Gardens Cemetery located at 2501 East Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
